CryptoPulse's Assets section: what changed and got better
We've rebuilt CryptoPulse's Assets section. The page used to list 24 identical cards with just a price and a 24-hour delta — no way to find a specific coin, and text glyphs (₿, Ξ, ◎, one 💎) that rendered differently depending on your device and operating system.
The page now opens with a market summary bar, followed by search, sector filters, and five sort keys, with a toggle to switch the list between cards and a full table view. Every card gets a real CoinGecko logo, its market rank, market cap, and a 7-day sparkline — the three largest assets get their own larger spotlight cards. There's a new sector taxonomy too: Layer 1, Payments, Infrastructure, Layer 2 & scaling, DeFi & exchange, Meme, Store of value, and Privacy. The data still comes from the same CoinGecko API call as before — it just now also requests a 7-day sparkline. Page caching dropped from 24 hours to 8 hours so the numbers stay fresher.
- Search, sector filters, five sort keys, and a cards/table toggle
- Real coin logos, market rank, market cap, and a 7-day sparkline on every card
- New sector taxonomy plus a five-question FAQ about the page itself
This continues the same thread as our other coverage of our own tools: we previously covered how our exchanges section works, with its honest ranking and real reviews, and highlighted tools like our Fear & Greed Index and calculators. The redesigned Assets page now links straight to the calculators hub too — the goal stays the same: not just show numbers, but help you find and compare what actually matters to you, faster.
This piece is informational, not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
