About the company
Gemini was released by Google DeepMind in December 2023, replacing the earlier Bard assistant; behind it sits the division formed when DeepMind and Google Brain merged in 2023. Its advantage is not the model but its location: Gemini is built into Gmail, Docs and Sheets, which puts it beside the work instead of waiting to be visited. The subscription is sold together with Google One storage, which makes a straight price comparison with a bare assistant slightly unfair. The figures follow the country — on 12 October 2026 the official page served from Czechia showed 149.99, 549.99 and from 2,999.99 CZK for the three tiers.
