Serves every provider’s models through one key with no token markup — you pay the provider’s list price plus a percentage on top-up

About the company
OpenRouter was founded in 2023 by Alex Atallah, a co-founder of OpenSea, and its job is infrastructural and exactly as dull as it is useful. Instead of holding a key per provider, a developer connects to one endpoint and gets three hundred models, with requests failing over to a backup when one goes down. There is no token markup: you pay the provider’s list price and the service takes a cut on credit top-ups — 5.5% on the standard tier. No monthly subscription exists, so a monthly price does not apply to this card.
