Superhuman was founded in 2014 by Rahul Vohra, who had sold Rapportive to LinkedIn, and for a decade sold itself as the fastest email client at thirty dollars a month long before it added AI. The logic has not changed — mail should be cleared faster than you can read it — but automatic triage and reply drafts in your own manner now sit on top of the speed. Grammarly acquired the company in 2025. There has never been a free tier, and billing is per person.
