Scaramucci: Bitcoin Has Bottomed and Will 'Grind Higher' From Here
SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci says bitcoin has, in his view, already found its market bottom and will slowly recover from here — even as investor sentiment stays deeply depressed, Benzinga reports.
- Fear & Greed Index — has stayed in "fear" territory since mid-May without a meaningful break.
- Bitcoin's RSI — sitting at low, oversold levels, though more cautious readings note it isn't an absolute historical low (2018's cycle lows went deeper).
- Google search interest for "bitcoin" — has dropped noticeably, which historically has lined up more often with the market approaching a bottom than a top.
“It's going to grind higher because the sentiment is terrible.”
— Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital

Scaramucci's logic is contrarian by design: extremely low retail interest and depressed sentiment have historically preceded a turn upward more often than further declines. He's previously argued that if bitcoin's four-year cycle holds, a meaningful recovery could start closer to the end of Q4 2026 or early 2027, Bitcoinist notes.
This is the second version of a "bottom" call we've covered today — earlier we wrote about the historical pattern of exchange collapses, while this one is about technical and behavioral indicators. Both views line up in spirit with bitcoin's recent bounce back to $65,000 ahead of the Fed meeting — but neither guarantees the outcome; they only describe historical coincidences.
